Palazzo storico in riva al mare, in una delle città più belle della calabria, non a caso definita ''la perla del Tirreno''. Edificio di importanza storica rilevante, essendo tra i primissimi nati a diamante, il secondo in ordine di tempo. Completamente ristrutturato e letteralmente sul mare, tanto da riuscire a sentire la brezza del mare non appena ci si affaccia dai balconi. Stanze spaziosissime, molto illuminate e ben areate. Per chi cerca relax, arte, cultura e sapori tradizionali. Nell’edificio sono presenti suggestivi affreschi dell’800. Si potranno anche apprezzare materiali di costruzione risalenti alla suddetta epoca

Beautiful apartment with priceless views. The apartment had everything I needed. Diamante is a peaceful and beautiful city. Recommend staying here!
Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der geräumigen Wohnung von Alfredo. Ein Zimmer war uns nicht zugänglich, aber so hatten wir auch genug Platz. Die Küche lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, was Ausstattung betrifft, aber für Kleinigkeiten reicht es. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, der Ausblick und das Einschlafen zum Meeresrauschen allein sind wunderschön.
Alfredo’s place has a great location, few steps and you are in the old city, close to the beach. I would say that it’s matches the pictures, but with few notes, most of spectacular view pictures are taken from 4ths bedroom, which is closed (if it’s just two of you :)), but view from two others are very pretty too, no doubts ;) the second note it that the sealing in the hall is not in a good shape (wallpapers are falling down), not something crucial, of course and we all not looking up all the time, but still, needed to be fixed. Also you need to read carefully the rules (luckily we did and didn’t plan to cook :)), because in the beginning in amenities was specified kitchen and washing machine, but in house rules were written it’s not possible to use them, later list of amenities was changed, so now descriptions is accurate. I had no issues with communication, quick and nice responses.
Alfredo è stato disponibile,la casa è situata in un buon punto anche se va raggiunta a piedi perché nel centro storico.Arredamento minimalista e un po' datato,ma comunque non mancava nulla.Nel complesso una bella esperienza
The apartment is in a beautiful house in a great location. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a place where we did not feel welcome. The room with the best view towards the ocean was locked off to us. No kitchen - even though the Airbnb page mentions a kitchen and an oven (incl. in the pictures) the host chose to write in the fine print that the kitchen is not for use. The host hid the stove hot plates and the baking trays. The bathroom is cramped and dated. Overall we were not happy with our stay.

Nel periodo estivo, è un brulicare di vita: le vie del centro storico sono il palcoscenico di centinaia di spettacoli dal vivo, tra musicisti, artisti di strada ed eventi di originali, legati indissolubilmente ai murales che rendono la città famosa in tutto il mondo, che vede ogni anni decine e decine di pittori giungere da ogni dove per poter mettere la loro firma tre le mura ormai ambitissime di Diamante.
A settembre inoltre ha qui luogo il ''Festival del peperoncino'' ed il ''Diamante corto festival'', eventi di livello assoluto che raggiungono una visibilità tale da permetter loro di essere seguiti dalla tv nazionale, e da ospiti di livello internazionale, sempre ben felici di visitare la 'Perla del tirreno'.
Diamante ha un centro storico piccolo che può essere tranquillamente visitato a piedi. Inoltre esistono svariati servizi navetta durante tutta l'estate, soprattutto durante il festival del peperoncino a Settembre.
