We had our whole family here for vacation, ranging from babies to toddlers, teens, adults and 60 year olds. Fit us all and Tariq made special accommodations for the babies. Pool and hot tub were awesome and even safe for the little ones. We opted to have the boat as well which proved to be awesome, we rode out to Matlacha pass a couple times seeing dolphins, hanging at sandbars and much more. Fantastic family vacation and Tariq was awesome whenever we needed him for anything.

Beautiful pool area and view. Lots of space, large kitchen and eating areas. Front door is not very secure, door is loose in frame and can be pushed out several inches when locked. Grill is dirty, hammer and building materials laying in yard, light bulbs blown, needs a paint job. Trash was full, we had to clean the previous guests trash up in the yard. Low water pressure, no TV in bedrooms, house needs a lot of general maintenance.

Very nice location for a family getaway. Pool and hot tub were a hit with the family. We used the pontoon to check out the channels and the matlacha area. Liked the small amount of traffic nearby the house.

I was happy to provide a review of The Getaway Place and the owner given the experience we had. We have been vacationing in Cape Coral for 10 years and haven't had the chance to speak as highly of the other home owners in the past that we can of Tariq. When staying 2 weeks , it would be unrealistic to think there would be no issues. We had a rocky start with a pool that wouldn't heat, dryer that worked intermittently and sliding door that would not lock. Each time we texted or called Tariq he was available via phone or text within minutes to help remedy the situation. In the past, we wouldn't hear back from the representative for hours or even days we would remain frustrated with no fix in site. All of these issues ended up resolved, plus more. His customer service was well over expectation, so we booked the house for next year. Tariq has a great home and pool that accommodated all 14 of us which 6 were small children. Thanks Tariq for a great trip.

Very roomy common space and kitchen for larger group. We had 12 adults. Has some spices. pretty place and view. There are not many outdoor chairs or lounge chairs .
