Lovely place, and the host did a great job of communicating. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely go again. We did have three issues which didn't ruin our stay, but did have a negative impact: Hot water runs out very quickly, so much so that our party of three chose to not shower on-site and instead planned to use showers at the nearby state park. This may not be an issue for some, but since I had filtered to specifically look for places with a shower, this was a bit of a let down. Dishes in the kitchen were not cleaned properly. We gave everything a wash before we used it, but the toaster oven tray was so badly stained with grease and old food that we couldn't use it, and we opted out of using the coffee maker for the same reason. Wi-Fi is listed, but the connection is poor. A sign advises guests to log out of Wi-Fi whenever possible to reduce this problem, but "don't use the Wi-Fi" isn't really a solution to a "can't use the Wi-Fi" problem. Otherwise, it was beautiful!

Oh boy. I hardly ever feel the need to write these types of reviews but this stat was abysmal. Good luck connecting to wifi (their paper printout is effectively a series of unclear combinations and you hoping one of them works. (Took me - an IT technician a day to get connected) In photos bedding was made - bedding was not made when we arrived. Our hammock was ripped and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. Outdoor fireplace was broken and couldn’t be fixed. They said we could use a lighter but the lighter they gave us was dead 🙃 Found pubic hair next to toilet (GROSS). Belongings from previous guests. Heater made a god awful loud screaming noise at 2am when in use that woke entire house up. Host was slow and unresponsive initially and had to resolve issue through the Airbnb Support for partial refund. Totaled nearly $450 for 3 nights. Could’ve easily scored a Hilton for that price. Luckily we spent most of the days hiking. Overall would avoid this company in the future😅

They were nice enough to let us bring our dog. The hammock is torn and the fire pit in the area wasn’t really accessible or usable. But it was a good weekend. And the beds were comfortable and the place was very clean.

Great stay. Understood cell and wifi would be spotty as it is Hill Country. Just a nice walk outside and many times I got cell. Beds were comfortable and night time special with deer out back at sunset.
