The Shack was a lovely, characteristic relaxing retreat that both me, my partner and my dog needed for the weekend! On arrival, Lorraine was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome from the off. She told us about some local places to go which was also helpful. The shack had a wonderful log burner which heated it up and made it super cosy. The unique bath was also lovely to sit in and look out the window. My partner even saw a sparrow hawk fly by when in there! The bed area was very comfy and cosy. If you are looking for a in-the-country, simplistic and peaceful place to stay, this is the place for you. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend to a friend :)

We have just spent three lovely days at the shack and were not at all ready to come home!! Everything about the shack was better than I had anticipated and great value for money. We loved how cosy and comfortable it was, everything we could need was there and Lorraine & Matt were both so friendly and welcoming. We weren't more than half hours drive from most things we wanted to see and that included some amazing lookouts, restaurants and beaches. But genuinely the highlight of each day was getting back to the shack, sitting in front of the fire with a cup of tea and listening to the rain!!

We had a lovely stay! So peaceful and picturesque. Great location to explore Cornwall, but also perfect accommodation to hideaway for a few days! Thank you Lorraine

Amazing space.What a wonderful find. Loved the way the hut had been created. Such flair and imagination. Total privacy in such a lovely setting. The cabin is sooo cosy and homely. We loved the bath and everything about the place. Fab central spot for exploring the wonderful coast,lovely fishing villages. Loads to do. Little chilly in eve, until we lit wood burner boy, that little burner packs a punch! Warm as toast within ten mins. Our dog had freedom to bound around,he enjoyed it as much as we did. Fab place to stay with lovely host Lorraine.Thank you for letting us stay in this special place x

What a lovely find! Myself and a friend absolutley loved our weekend away staying in 'The Shack'. It was super cosy, basic but everything we needed. Lorraine was super responsive with communicating before our stay and was on hand if we needed anything whilst we were there. The bed is super comfy, the shack is cosy and warm making for a lovely getaway regardless of the time of year. Loved saying hello to the pigs as we passed them each day :-)
