first time airbnb user. I booked a rental around 7pm , after paying for it , airbnb wanted me to upload my ID to verify me and it is going to take up to 24 hours. I needed the place the same night. keep in mind it's already evening. I canceled the booking and let the host know. I didn't even use the place and explained the situation, the right thing is for the host to refund me. if it was me I would not feel right accepting the payment. when I booked it , there was no cancelation policy to be read. after going back on my phone you literally have to scroll all the way to the bottom to even see that but the reserve button is static on the screen if you have already looked at the location and price there is no need to scroll all the way to the bottom to even read the cancelation policy. so I clicked reserve and payed for it. this si deceptive it should be mandatory to scroll to the bottom or have the cancelation on top. Either was as a first time rental , it's clear it does not value getting key messages across to the renter prior to renting. it was not even a couple of hours into it I canceled due to the verification policy , which I did not have time to wait and did not want to risk losing my money wleither way it was a lose-lose.

This is a great, clean, safe space with good restaurants, groceries and coffee shops in the vicinity. Or you can make your coffee of choice at the lounge in the reception area. I had a comfortable, quiet stay. Noise levels are minimal. I never heard noises from other apartments or felt disturbed in any way. Eli responded to my requests promptly and was very helpful. I used the comfortable “computer niche” to work and got a lot done. Overall, enjoyed my stay here.
