I had troubles in this place, which is dirty and difficult to access. It is not an appartement but two rooms with a shared bathroom. I experienced a huge communication gap between the caretaker and the owner. It is not a property worth aud40/- plus.

Het was een hele mooie belevenis om echt bij een Sri lankaans gezin thuis te verblijven. Op die manier krijg je een indruk hoe het normale leven er uit kan zien. Het is wat beperkt met luxe die we gewend zijn. Geen Wifi leidt ook dat je met rust krijgt 'savonds! Een muggennet was wel prettig geweest, maar eigenlijk vrij weinig van de insecten gemerkt. Men heeft zich erg uit gesloofd om goede maaltijden voor ons te maken (bijna niet pittig!). Speciaal voor ons kom er iemand in de king coconut palm om voor ons cocosnoten te halen! Wandeling door eigen Theeveld naar de snelstromende rivier was prachtig en pootje baden verkoelend. Onze kinderen hebben erg leuk met de locale kinderen kunnen spelen ondanks dat het met de taal wat moeilijk ging. Erg gastvrij onthaald. Wel nog een half uur rijden naar regenwoud Park.

It was a very nice experience to stay there. The environment is so very beautiful between the tea plantations. And the food was very delicious the sister of Sujith makes Thnks for everything

Highly recommend if you are looking for a great experience to connect with the gorgeous nature of the rainforest. The family is super friendly and welcoming, I got every day a breakfast and two delicious warm meals for a super small fee! rain forest entrance in a few minutes reachable by tuk tuk. A great experience - you need to hike to the view point on a rock, it’s worth it! Thanks for having me guys!

If you want to visit the Sinharaja Forest via the Kudawa entrance I can totally recommend this place. You’re staying with a lovely and friendly family and I really enjoyed my stay. They helped me a lot to find and organize everything, they were so kind and even cooked for me (it was delicious) and I even got a ride to the Kudawa entrance. That was very nice! The house is a little bit complicated to find when you’re not local, but Sujith helped all the time and the communication was really good! Thanks a lot again!
