Great location. Very quiet, opposite a nice field and playground. Good to visit if you like nature and countryside. Very good value. Very friendly hosts who make you feel completely at home.

If you want a really affordable place to stay in the heart of Dorset - with a lovely host on hand your not go wrong staying here . With two on suite bedrooms , small kitchen , comfortable living area , a nice clean budget accommodation . The village is very small, extremely quiet but friendly, ideal spot for lymn Regis, fosel hunting, walking and village pub's .

Jean was a friendly host and we enjoyed our holiday in Dorset. However, the accommodation did not really meet our expectations. There is a strong smell of damp in the cottage, particularly in the bedrooms. We could not use the wardrobes for this reason. In our experience, the WIFI did not work inside the property. It did work when we sat in the car, but this wasn't convenient with young children or very pleasant in the dark. There is no sign of a router in the cottage, so presumably it's too far away for it to work properly. Unfortunately there was no signal for our network (O2) either. So it was very difficult to plan days out or even check the weather. We're not accustomed to giving critical reviews, but in our opinion, the property could do with a bit of an update.

We had a fantastic time visiting this 4 cottage in the Dorset countryside. The cottage itself was great value for money, providing everything we (two adults, two children - 4 and 7 months) needed for a five night stay. The playground opposite was a big hit, as were the countryside views, accessible walks and little stream at the bottom of the hill. The cottage is well located for visiting Dorchester (Dinosaur museum, cinema), West Bay (crabbing, walks), Lyme Regis (fossil hunting, beach) and Bridport (shops, market). There are plenty of pubs in the surrounding villages with the Three Horseshoes at Powerstock and The Spyway at Askerswell real standouts. Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot with us!

Excellent property and everything as described. Jean very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Was there if needed. Would highly recommend and definitely book again when visiting the area again. Thanks for a fantastic break.
