It’s not possible to give a better rating, I have nothing but beautiful comments of my stay here. ✨ Bernie welcomed us on the property and was always quick to respond via message or in-person. The cabins themselves are so beautiful and unique. There’s so many small details around the property that show the space was built with love and meant to be enjoyed deeply. I chose this placed based on being full self-sustainable, I was very inspired and happy for a place that takes care to live with nature. In my opinion, the listing is exactly as described. Any negative reviewers seem to be from not reading the description and then creating their own expectations. Aka, the cabins are indoor/outdoor so some flys and mosquitos are always around (as well as some other critters in the night :) but with the natural bug repellent provided & bug net this wasn’t a bother at all. The sun heated showers was comfortable after a long day and the open windows provide enough breeze. Highly recommend. 🌿

Absolutely stunning!! The room and location were both perfect, with private deck and access to the beautiful Bacalar lagoon. Delicious food and free kayaks for guests. We would love to stay again. Thanks to all the lovely staff there, too!

The grounds are so beautiful the rooms are designed so well a perfect mix of being inside and outside. I spent so much time on the floating planks of wood in the lagoon didn’t want to leave the hotel and had wonderful breakfast and dinners. Thanks you to Ray & Fatima and everyone. We can’t wait to come back very soon.

A scenic spot at the Bacalar Lagoon. An open house well integrated into its surroundings. With fine food served on site. And two (friendly) dogs keeping the gate.
