The place is ok for the price, clean, but at times the place is not always “Tranquil” as the host says in the description. There is loud noise from construction that is going on for the building, as well as loud music from neighborhood riff raff. The host does not provide clear and concise details for setting up the tv Comcast, otherwise the tv is useless. The host states paid washer and dryer, yes, you have to pay, fine. But in the description host states upon arrival there will be a laundry card on desk of your room. No laundry card left on desk as described. I had to pay $5 to get the card downstairs from the machine in the laundry area. Then, I had to pay an additional $15 to load the card (not mentioned in description, other choices were higher amounts). I advised Vanessa, the host, and she said she would refund the $5 for the card. I am still waiting for refund. This place is geared toward guests for longer stays 1+months. No complimentary breakfast, otherwise.

Incorrect drop box instructions forced me to go to a hotel the first night. Spoke with ABNB the next day and they provided the correct instructions for night 2. Once I did get in, the bedroom door of my room, labeled "Horse", did not close securely. Even when locked from the inside, the door could just be pushed open due to a mechanical issue with the latch. So I slept in an unlocked room. I requested a refund for the first night but was refused. I sent the instructions I was initially provided to ABNB but they did nothing. Oh well, moving on. Learned my lesson. Hotel next time.

Loved staying here and would absolutely return. So peaceful but close to everything you could need to have a great time in New York.
