This place is all about location. It's in the middle of the forest where you wake up to a bird songs and no signs of civilization. Karmen and family run a busy restaurant alongside the accommodation. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated the opportunity to have some lovely wine and great conversations with the hosts after a long drive. Some feedback to the company managing reservations is to include a better directions to the place ahead of time. GPS leads you to the middle of the forest with no phone reception, so I was a little worried ending up there at night. Accommodation itself is basic but comfortable, I only stayed one night. I had a comfortable bed, my own shower, and there's a shared living room if you stay for longer as well as terrace. I liked the overall experience, and waking up in the middle of the forest at 6am was magical.
De magie van dit hotel (met geweldig restaurant) komt niet 100% overeen met de foto’s. Het is namelijk een top accommodatie. Geweldig personeel, kundig en vriendelijk. Het restaurant is een pareltje; lokaal goed eten en een heerlijke wijnproeverij. Daarnaast is het in het bos en heerlijk stil.

My name is Karmen and I am the owner and host of Guest House Frata. I have met a lot of great people from all over the world while working in tourism. Since I get a lot of reservations every day, I share my work with my partner agency AlpeAdriaBooker, so I can offer a better service to all my guests. They are a professional property management company helping me every day to manage my reservations. This local agency from Brežice - Slovenia, acts as a connection point, by both maximising the potential for the renters (myself) and carrying for guests along every step of the way. That way the renters and myself have more time to be at guests disposal in person. You will be meeting me at the property, I will give you the keys, while my partners from the agency communicate with my guests online. If you call our contact number you will reach their reservation department. They will help you with everything you might need. You don't have to worry, they will keep me informed about your arrival and needs, and I will be waiting for you at the accommodation to welcome you for a great start of your holidays!
