This is a very worthwhile stay. Eleuthera is amazing and this location is very special. This is a rustic camp lake atmosphere that is very social. Met some great people while experiencing miles of incredibly beautiful and secluded ocean beach. Highly recommend this central location on Eleuthera as an outing base and as a great experience in its own right. If looking for pristine & modern and need high speed internet, may not be right for you. Although no trouble for Aliv LTE service there if you get prepaid SIM or eSIM.

The greatest Airbnb experience we've had. A little ways off the beaten path, the Outpost is a beautiful oasis with stunning views, charming animals, and a home-away-from-home feel that is sure to enhance your stay on Eleuthera. The owner, Jim, was an amazing host and gave great recommendations for activities, restaurants, and sites from his 30 years on the island. Sonya was helpful and available to answer any questions that we had. After a long day of exploring the island, we loved returning to our little slice of paradise and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the shore. A hidden gem for sure, cannot recommend it enough, and will definitely be back one day!

The Outpost is a beautiful location directly on the ocean on what feels like a personal beach. The grounds are charming and offer multiple opportunities for places to sit and enjoy. We listened to the beach all night - which was majestic. The kitchen and dining spaces are shared, which my daughter and I really enjoyed. The main house is wonderfully decorated and has many stories and delightful crafts and books to explore. We enjoyed spending time with the owner, Jim, and some other local friends. It was a wonderful immersive experience for us and exactly what we were looking for. The unit itself was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, both for the shower and beach. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a wonderfull journey at Sonya’s place! The view from our room and the garden was breathtaking ! We enjoyed the direct access to the beach (a little piece of paradise). We also really enjoyed talking to Jim who is leaving next to the Airbnb. Our room was very clean and cosy. We can only highly recommend this wonderfull place! We hope we could come back one day!
