I chose this place for my birthday, the only special day of the year, between so many due to looking so perfect on description, big and after seeing so good reviews…after 5 minuts of arriving we felt disappointed,sad and after so long drive we just wanted day to finish. Kitchen was dirty, tap was broken, leaking water all over when opened, kitchen bin dirty, stove dirty, still bread/cereals bits on counter from previous people. On the table we were going to sit and try to rest and have a chat and a nibble after long drive, 1 of the chairs was very wobbly almost falling apart. On 1 of the bedrooms heater wasnt working temporarily, and when tried to see what was wrong there was so much dust and a dirty towel/cloth behind it we had to go reception and call cleaners to really do a better job in our place that was suposed to be immaculate for my birthday and first time in the grove. Showers were no pressure and long wait till hot water start coming on this very cold days. So many badthing

We spent a lovely weekend at the Barn with our grandchildren. The accommodation is lovely, it had everything we needed and more, the children enjoyed the games and the swimming pool was a great hit! It is set in beautiful surroundings and the beach is just a short walk away. I would definitely recommend Chris’s place, and would stay here again.
