We loved our stay at Mariangela’s place so much! It was in such a great location and was very spacious. She always checked in with us and was very responsive if we needed anything. We will definitely come back next time we are in Florence!

We love Florence Italy. Host never met us nor called as we asked. Did not want to acknowledge noise issue. She does not live in Florence and is disconnected from neighbor activities took time to investigate. Street is closed weekdays for a school difficulty with taxi airport and luggage.

Excellent host. Lots of space with updated kitchen and bathrooms, and original ceilings from the 1600s! I felt safe and the apartment was quiet. The location is perfect. It’s close to Santa Croce and the Sant’Ambrogio Market. And it’s right between my two favorite shops: Scuola del Cuoio (best leather goods) and Forno Ghibellina (best bakery). It’s also close to my favorite restaurant: Ristorante Gastone. Make sure you reserve a day to go to the best designer outlet mall in the world: The Mall Firenze!

We recently stayed at Mariangela's Courtyard Suite for 3 weeks and can highly recommend it. Stylish, comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet - it exceeded our expectations. Mariangela was attentive and checked in with us regularly. The location is superb - just around the corner from the stunning Santa Croce Basilica and Piazza and short walks to the major attractions and museums - Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Bargelllo, etc. The neighborhood is relatively free of tourists - yet has many wonderful restaurants, shops, and artist studios. The fantastic Sant Ambrogio market is close by. All in all - perfect.

This apartment is even nicer than the photos. There are lovely new wingback chairs in the living room that aren’t shown. Everything was so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Sara, the local house manger, met me at the apartment to familiarize me with how everything works. She was delightful. Mariangela, the property owner, was always accessible within minutes of messaging her. She even helped me get a last-minute cab to the airport when my phone wouldn’t dial out. This was my apartment for a month while I was in town for art classes. Location was perfect. Just outside of the super touristy area, but within minutes on foot to everything! The Santa Croce neighborhood is lovely, vibrant and full of local artists, students, etc. The bakery on the corner got to know me & made me feel so welcome when I went in for my morning coffee & croissant. The apartment is surrounded by so many good restaurants, shops, the Sant’ Ambrogio market, etc. I will miss this place so much. ❤️❤️
