Fantastic location, couldn’t beat it. Hot tub was lovely considering we had terrible wet weather.
Do yourself a favour and go stay at one of these huts! Situated in the most stunningly beautiful location, we were surrounded by snow-capped mountains and gorgeous views in every direction. The outdoor hot tub was superb and well worth the wait, as even in summer the temperature was chilly for us Queenslanders. Easy to light and keep going, we just kept adding wood for about 1.5hrs and then left it for another hour as we went for a hike in the mountains behind us, came back and it was perfect, super toasty. The shared kitchen has everything you need and is well stocked with cutlery and crockery, coffee and tea. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer.
Stunning place, which is incredibly peaceful. Drive up is not for those afraid of heights. Amazing to have a soak in the wood fire hot tub, see the sunset and then the stars. Breathtaking views from the labrador lookout. Very grateful for the tranquil stay after a busy Christmas.
