We stayed with our parents and siblings for a family weekend getaway and Carrie’s cottage was so perfect for us. It had plenty of space for everyone including 2 young kids and a little dog. Carrie was really hospitable and easy to communicate with. The cottage sits on a beautiful part of Portage Bay on Lake Rousseau and is in a nice quiet area. We were able to use the fishing rods, kayaks and paddle board right off the dock. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more. Carrie and John went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible!

Carrie and her family are welcoming and responsive. This place exceeded my expectations and plan to stay here again. Their dock is amazing and still had room for me to easily park a 23ft boat. There was great balance of privacy but easy access to farmers market, local places and more.

Carrie's Cottage at Lake Rousseau was amazing! We had fun using the kayaks on the lake and saw a beautiful meteor shower from the dock. The house was clean, quiet, and cozy. Carrie and John were great hosts and always quick to help us. If you want a great time at one of the best lakes in Ontario, this is the place to be. I'd recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Everything was top notch and thoroughly enjoyable. So many nice touches throughout. Great local recommendations. So relaxing. Would love to go back!
