This delightful young woman and her partner were very friendly and welcoming and were proactive and responsive to any communication immediately, which also included prior to arrival. We had a car and as it is a hilltop village it was going to be quite tricky to get it to the B&B. So Antonella‘s partner came down and met us in the town Square with his car and navigated us up to a very close park as we had quite a lot of luggage. Everything about the place was lovely - the view is stunning, the terrace of the suite we had was just beautiful. They were great about restaurants and made a booking for us. It doesn’t have breakfast included but we were offered a breakfast in their kitchen/dining area with other guests at an extremely reasonable price with beautiful fruit, hot eggs, cereal and great coffee plus more.

El apartamento de Antonella es cómodo, muy original y decorado con gusto y cariño. Limpio y organizado. Tranquilo. Hermosa vista, desde las dos terrazas se puede ver el mar Jónico a lo lejos (18 kms). El segundo dormitorio está en el segundo piso, subiendo una estrecha escalera. Antonella es amable, auténtica, cercana y muy simpática. Ella respondió rápidamente a mis preguntas. El desayuno es muy completo y delicioso, con productos frescos, en la cocina justo enfrente de la habitación. El estacionamiento está en la calle, a 5 minutos, pero te aconsejo que vayas con una maleta pequeña, con lo mínimo necesario para tu estadía (las calles suben y bajan y son estrechas, el auto no llega a la puerta). Antonella y Beppe organizaron un saludo por mi cumpleaños, a la hora del desayuno, gracias por esto, muy emocionante! Hay una sala donde se puede disfrutar de una taza de té, en absoluta calma. Beppe me ayudó con mis cosas para ir al auto. Recomiendo el apartamento para tus vacaciones!

We loved staying at Antonella's place so mich we tried to extend our sta but it was booked. She was kind enough to give us an extra hour so we could explore Civita for a while longer. The view from the terraces were absolutely phenomenal. Antonella and her family & friends were very hospitable and understanding even when our schedule made things inconvenient for them. She was a perfect host.

This utterly magical home is located in a perfect spot in the medieval village of Civeta - it is high on the hill with 2 balconies where you can gaze over the beautifully chaotic design of red tile rooftops, the hillsides to plains all the way out to the Ionian Sea. People actually drive their cars through the narrow stone paths in much of this town, but where this house sits, the path is too narrow for that, making this location very peaceful and quiet. Antonella is a delightful host. She met us where we parked our car to take us to her front door and offered ideas about what to do and where to eat. She even shared some of her own cooking with us because she had extra from hosting a dinner for another group. The home itself is clean and comfortable - I could sit on the balcony all day and enjoy the view! I highly recommend this home to immerse yourself in the lifestyle of a very interesting Arbëreshë/Italian village.

Antonella & Pepe are great hosts. When we arrived it was raining heavily but they didn’t mind getting wet to come and find us at the entrance of the village to show us the road to our house. They were also very helpful in booking for us restaurants and rafting for the following days. The place is great and probably in the best location in the village. A house for 4 persons in 2 levels and a balcony with breath taking views of the village and the gorge a next to it. Note that the stair to the 2 level is steep and not suitable for unfit elderly persons. On the flip side the bathroom on the main level is designed for persons with disabilities. Breakfast was fulfilling and fresh coffee was made repeatedly upon request. We strongly recommend this place: make a 2-3 nights stop in Civita and visit the hot baths on the south side and the mountain region on the north side. Then head back to Civita for dinner and wonder on foot around the village.
