This place offers many conveniences, including comfortable beds, complete kitchen, wood-burning stove, and washer & dryer. The town is quaint, and it is well situated for access to some good hiking trails, as well as to other "white villages." The only problem we had was finding the place in town. Our Spanish is quite limited, and it was hard to communicate to the person greeting us that we had no idea where in town we should drive to.

This is a great flat. There are no stairs, which I appreciate. The layout is an open floorplan, with ample living, dining, and kitchen space. The only problem I had in this space was the vent hood above the hob. It is very easy to hit your head on it. I think it's oversized for the space in the kitchen, especially as the sink and the hood are tucked into the same corner. It really is a design flaw, not a reflection on Arno. The bedrooms have terrific built in closet/storage space and there is ample room to get around the beds. The beds are comfortable The bathroom is good sized with nothing blocking the toilet which can happen in some places. The downside to the bathroom is that there is no door or curtain on the shower. I took to leaving the mop and bucket in the bathroom so I could just mop up after showering. The best thing about the piso is the location! Both the public fountain and el nacimiento, the spring, are just a short walk away, great for walking.

A highly recommend Arno's place if you are looking for a clean, warm place with easy access as a base for exploring the area. The village is very peaceful, parking close by and Raul was there to let me in and show me the apartment and was very helpful during my stay.
