In the most southern part of Stockholm archipelago you will find our cosy little "bush retreat" at Torö/Svärdsö, 10 min drive from Torö stenstrand (pebble beach). Feel free to use our surfboards and go for a surf, use our rowing boat only, 10-15min walk from the cottage! 10-15 min drive to Nynäshamn where you can find almost everything and hang out in the harbor during the summer or if you want to explore Stockholm city, it is only 40-50 min drive. The busstop is only 100 meter from the cottage! Open plan with high ceiling. Cozy sleeping loft with 2 beds for 2-3 persons ( narrow staircase). The fireplace is in the heart/center of the cottage in the ”Livingroom” , opposite the cozy sofa. A functional kitchen with everything you need. The ”Smeg” refridgerator has a freezer compartment. The kitchensofa is combined as a ”sofabed ”, pull-out for 2 persons . The kitchen table is reversable for more space. 5 chairs and smaller chair for a kid. Patiodeck just outside the kitchen with a lovely daybed and a bathtub. Also table and chairs. The backyard is privacy protected , a generous forest plot with hammocks and a parking area. Clothing storage: -A dresser with 4 drawers available. -Hanger in the hall. -A smaller dresser with 2 drawers available and a key. - 2 bed drawers under the kitchen sofa/bed.

Amazing place, host and area. Exactly as described in the posting and such a wonderful home to spend a few cold autumn days. The water smells a bit funky but it tastes fine especially when boiled so didn’t detract from the experience. Emelie was responsive, kind and generous! Will return here in summer and maybe get a bath or two in!
Fantastiskt boende! Så mysigt och fint. Allt funkade super. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka. :)
Eigentlich gibt’s nur eines zu sagen: es war perfekt! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und total gemütlich. Ich habe mich sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt. Emelie und Kalle haben wirklich an alles gedacht und sind sehr warmherzige, bemühte Gastgeber, denen es am Herzen liegt, dass man eine schöne Zeit hat. Zwar hat man die Straße gehört, aber irgendwie war es gar nicht störend. Besonders schön war, dass man auf dem Grundstück ganz für sich ist. Kamin und Außendusche sind ein Traum! Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und nicht zu weich. Man hat alles, was man braucht, ich konnte sogar schwedische Zimtschnecken backen - das Rezept habe ich von Emelie bekommen. Die Abende kann man dann auf dem super gemütlichen Sofa vor dem Kamin verbringen. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen und freue mich schon sehr darauf.
Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Kindern (8 & 11 Jahre) haben eine sehr schöne Woche im Surfshack verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem, was man benötigt, ausgestattet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Emelie war unproblematisch und schnell. Und obwohl ihre Hühner anscheinend auch im Urlaub waren, haben wir nach ein paar Tagen doch noch ein paar Eier bekommen. ;-) Das Grundstück ist ganz privat und man fühlt sich, als wäre man mitten im Wald ganz allein. Die nahgelegene Straße ist zwar zu hören, aber zu unserer Zeit war dort nicht viel Verkehr und die paar Autos haben nicht gestört. Unsere Kinder haben auf dem Grundtück (an dem Pfad zum Strand) eine kleine Wichtelhöhle gebaut. Vielleicht bleibt sie ja noch eine Weile für kommende Gäste erhalten oder wird von anderen Kindern gepflegt und erweitert... Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, die geniale Outdoor-Dusche, die wunderbare Toilette, das Bett auf der Terasse...einfach alles! LG, Elke

Summer holiday resort. Peaceful and surrounded by nature. 100 meter to the closest neighbour. Animals like moose, deer, wild boar , badger ,fox , sea eagle and beaver are pretty common:)

We are a family of three with dogs and hens:) We love adventures and spending time by the ocean ,in the mountains or in the forest. Snowboarding , mountainbike, surfing yoga and horseriding are our favorite hobbies. We live in Sweden on an "Island" called Torö. We grow up in the City, Stockholm but after been travelling and working season we felt like being closer to the nature. We have been living in Nynäshamn for about 13 years and loving and livin it! When We moved here, we decided to renovate our guesthouse and share our little paradise. Our inspiration comes from the forest, Australia's surf culture, Bali, new Zealand, Costa Rica and different hostels, b&b and guesthouse experiences. The house has a fireplace from the old guesthouse. The windows are from a neighbour and the door is from an appartment in Stockholm. The terrace is made by my husband and a local carpenter called "Tree" who burnt the wood with a Japanese tecniqe called "So shogi ban". Different locals has helped us to build up this place together with my husband Kalle. The interior is personal, retro and vintage to give the nature a rest and make us feel comfy and relaxed.
