Sunset Terrace Cave house is a wonderful 3 apartment villa in the heart of Santorini. The units are air conditioned, spacious and comfortable. While others were scurrying for position to see the Santorini sunset, 6 of us were enjoying the large rooftop deck with glasses of wine and toasting to the spectacular view while in the comfort of lounge chairs and the hot tub spa. The apartments offer individual privacy, are decorated in Cave decor with touches of tasteful art by Maria which together created a truly unique and memorable experience for our family. I would highly recommend the Sunset Terrace Cave House or anywhere Maria is a host.

I have to say that Santorini is extremely beautiful!!! It was a good location right in the center of amazing views. BUT the fact that there was no running water to shower really put a damper on everything. I know it wasn't the host fault and there is an issue with water pressure and water there in the city, but I wish that was told to me before booking. To pay that much a night and for the cave bathroom not to be able to use it was not worth the money. Great communication and service but walking around and having to bathe with buckets of water was not what I expected.

L'une des meilleures terrasse de Oia ! Emplacement idéal à la fois central et loin du bruit, de magnifiques points de vue. Tous les conseils de Maria ont été parfaits, restaurants, plages... Les 2 appartements sont très confortables, parfaitement propres, nettoyés quotidiennement, une très bonne litterie et oreillers, un réfrigérateur plein de fruits, jus, et autres douceurs pour le petit déjeuner. Peut être un peu juste pour cuisiner, mais l'île est gorgée d'excellents restaurants. Enjoy !

Totally totally awesome This place is fabulous in the heart of everything literally. Maria, Melina and Yannis are absolutely the best host I have ever encountered. All I can say is we will return next year. Very spacious perfect location and the history of this beautiful cave house says it all. Everyday watching the sunset from our very large terrace was incredible. Thank you again for a truly memorable trip. See you next year. With Love The Gimenez Family

Hello! My name is Maria. I am a sculptor and painter. You are welcome to come and stay at my cave house on the beautiful island of Santorini, Greece! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Maria Economou is a sculptor and a painter. She was born in Athens. She studied in the School of Philosophy, University of Athens, and graduated from the department of French Literature. She also studied the English language in the Stanton School of English, London, Diploma in Proficiency, University of Cambridge. In 1998 she enrolled in the High School of Fine Arts, Athens. Studied painting, drawing and sculpture up to 2004 . In 1999 she was a doctoral student in the School of Philosophy - University of Athens. Subject:“Ideological trends in France from 1950 to 1970 and associated effects on Greek artists.” 2002 - 2004 lived in Paris and studied “Aesthetics and Art Theory” in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Beaux Arts de Paris with Professor Alain Bonfand. 2004 graduated from the High School of Fine Arts, Athens and in 2005 she gained her doctorate in the School of Philosophy, University of Athens. Her book, under the title “Ideological trends in France from 1950 to 1970 and associated effects on Greek artists.”, published in 2008 by LIVANIS editions, was based on her doctorate research in France and Greece.
