Welcome to The Chaumer Abide, an exclusive extension of Stewart Christie & Co - Edinburgh's over 300-year-old bespoke tailor. Located on central Queen Street, our cozy room is perfect for those seeking an authentic Scottish experience with an decadent twist. As our guest, you'll have a totally private room with its own entrance, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed stay. We pride ourselves on immersing our guests in authentic Scottish luxury, and we are happy to share our knowledge of Edinburgh and Scotland's rich history with you. To add to your experience, we provide complimentary whisky in your room, and we can also offer a fresh light breakfast tray from our petite tea room on request with 24-hour notice. We also offer a wine and tea list for pre-order during working hours at reasonable prices. Please note that our hostess works from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and will be available to welcome you within these hours. On Sundays and Mondays, you will check in using a key box, and unfortunately, breakfast trays are not available as these are the company's days off. However, we are available on the Airbnb message chat at all times, should you need anything or want some good local recommendations. As a gesture of respect to our security, we ask that you please turn off all lights and lock up when leaving on Sundays and Mondays and return the key through the letterbox of Stewart Christie the tailors, which is a blue door at number 63 Queen Street. If you arrive early between 10am and 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, you are welcome to leave your bags with our friendly team. Additionally, if the room is empty, we can offer late checkouts. Just ask!
