This place is great! The pizza oven was fun and worked perfectly, the kitchen is excellent, and the property felt nice and quiet and secluded with a cool view of the mountains over the water. Also there’s a big vinyl collection and record player for classic tunes the whole weekend. Shawn and Jodi were super responsive and had everything prepped for us - highly recommend this spot!

I stayed with a group of friends at Shawn’s Airbnb for a long weekend. The cabin was incredible! Plenty of space for hanging out and cooking meals for large groups. It was quite rainy the weekend we stayed so we particularly enjoyed the hot tub, vinyl collection, and fireplace. This served as a good home base to explore the eastern and northern parts of the Olympic peninsula while still being an easy ferry ride from Seattle. Would highly recommend Shawn’s place for any large groups looking for a peaceful outdoor getaway!

The Rockwood Lodge and property was absolutely fabulous! It was a perfect getaway location for our family. We loved the property trails, the lake access, the hottub and outdoor bathtub! The kitchen was wonderfully large and stocked with quality appliances and pots and pans. The extra long dining room table was so convenient, we could eat and play games at the same time. And the bonus was knowing that the money we spent to rent the Lodge helped support Artists-in-Residence!! Thank you Shawn for sharing :)

Shawn's place is amazing - rented for my 30th birthday and had all the amenities we could ask for. The pizza oven was a hit. We even got some unexpected snow, which was gorgeous. Would love to come back in the summer to get out on the lake.
