The hotel is located right at the beginning of a beautiful trail that you can walk 3 miles and end up in the town center. It was a gorgeous walk, and the host’s directions were very clear and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and convenient. Being able to rent a bike to adventure out a little farther was very convenient. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. I felt very welcome and comfortable in the area, especially as a woman traveling alone.

This place is an absolute gem. Jan was super helpful with check in and instructions on all the things to see in Giethoorn. The town is absolutely charming! The room was a little dated but it was very clean and has AC! Coming from the USA where everyone has AC to Germany where no one has AC then to the Netherlands where Jan had AC, was an absolute bonus! We absolutely loved our visit to Giethoorn and would highly recommend this hotel!
