I would say there were pros and cons here… let’s start with the pros .. for the price it was a lot of space, great yard, awesome for a dog who loves to sniff! The house was a good size for two. Bathroom was fine despite reading other reviews. I would have to stay the kitchen was stocked with cutlery and plenty of items to cook with (though we didnt). There was a kurig, but no K cups… I would have brought if I had know that. Woke up wanted a coffee and that was kind of a bummer. Beds mattress on both bed super uncomfortable. Definitely could use a foam topping or better mattress. I would have liked a larger bed in the master as my parter is 6’3 and and 200lb I felt squished. Drive way is a bit rough lots of pot holes and steep. Might make this tough in the winter. Pulling out was scary no mirror and bushes in both directions obstructing the view. Location was perfect for us. Situated between our two favorite towns.

We enjoyed Lou’s place! The location was perfect and very peaceful. Lou was very responsive to our questions. Visiting their gallery on the river is a must! Both hosts were lovely and helpful. There were a few items about the house we’d like to share. There was a lot of air freshener used in the house and in the linens that was over- powering. The mattress was not the most comfortable, but, this is personal, I know. The coffee maker had not been cleaned, and the kitchen could could do with a review of essential items. Lastly, the heater in the kitchen was perfect, however, the heat in rhe living room did not seem to work as well. In all fairness, we did not ask about these items because we were too busy enjoying the area. Our overall stay was great, these items were not deal breakers, we just wanted to share these thoughts hoping they would be useful.
