This house is in an idyllic location with incredible views. The description was accurate but many important details were left out of the description: the house has no heat except for plug-in electric heaters, and there is not enough heaters for each bedroom. If you want to use all the heaters at the same time on a cold evening the breakers keep tripping. The owner’s solution was to run an electrical cord from the 1st floor up the stairs to a bedroom, which we then continuously tripped on bc it was laying across the floor. The 1 working shower is in the basement, which also has no heat and is freezing. There is a wooden door w/ 1” gaps around the sides where the air comes in. The 1 small heater in the basement is inadequate to heat the space so we were taking showers and stepping out into a freezing cold room, w/ concrete floors. There are electric wires hanging out in every room. It has the potential to be lovely w/ more renovations completed. The linens were old & ripped also.

It was gorgeous. Wow. We had such fun and what a place to come back to after a day of work! Such fun. Such fun decor, nice and cosy. Well equipped and glorious location. Such a special experience. Thank you 😊

This house is in a stunning location and has the potential to be such a fabulous place to stay at. Unfortunately, I think that the renovations that the homeowners are planning and doing, are not far enough along for the place to be rented out to strangers. The communication with the hosts was lovely, and I have no complaints with them. Hopefully the potential of the house will be realized soon. The views at night, looking out at sea, were out of this world. Good luck!
