Taking its name from a previous owner of Doddington Hall the Delaval Rooms form part of the old stable block. There are three rooms in total, sleeping six people across 3 double rooms. As you step in you are welcomed with a light and spacious space, followed by a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting room area with a wood burning stove. Upstairs the beautiful rooms are stylishly equipped and overlook the tranquil parkland. Perfect for the immediate bridal party, the Delaval Rooms are often used for the bride and her bridesmaids before the big day but it is also suitable for a memorable stay regardless of the occasion. The stunning large and airy suite with a luxurious ensuite bathroom is found on the first floor and is designed around the needs of a bride or groom on their big day, offering plenty of space with an aura of elegant luxury. Designed as the premier room within the Stable Yard it also has a number of original features including wooden beams and a combination of antique and modern styled furnishings. Upstairs there are a further two magnificent double bedrooms, both of these rooms have ensuite bathrooms.

Lovely grounds and accommodation - perfect for a weekend away with a large group
Annually we meet with 6 friends from different areas of the country. This year we met at Doddington Hall for the weekend. The accommodation was spot on. We arrived Friday afternoon and had a stroll around the estate in the early evening. We ate in Friday and Saturday morning we drove into Lincoln and spent the day visiting the Cathedral and the Castle. We went out to the Glass and Bottle for supper which was very pleasant and then spent Sunday morning, walking around the beautiful gardens and visiting the shops and had booked lunch in the restaurant for Sunday lunch, which we all enjoyed. A great successful weekend enjoyed by us all.

If that wasn't enough, our shops are open daily and stock a wide range of beautiful products inspired both by our passion for local and seasonal produce and love of the finer things in our life.
Doddington Hall is situated on the outskirts of Lincoln, just five miles from the centre of the city. By car, Doddington Hall is five miles West of Lincoln on the B1190. It is signposted from the A46 Newark to Lincoln Road. It is also signposted from the A57 between the A1 and Lincoln. Doddington Hall has exclusive, complimentary parking.
If you are travelling by train Doddington is 20 minutes from Newark Northgate and Lincoln stations, and 40 minutes from Retford station. If you arrive by train to Lincoln Central Station or Newark Northgate Station you can get to Doddington Hall by taxi and we can give you a recommendation of taxi numbers.
By Bicycle Doddington has a new cycle track which links Doddington to Lincoln. The route was officially opened by Olympic Gold medallist Georgie Twigg MBE and is named the Georgie Twigg Track. Why not come and try out the new track for yourself when you are here with our range of hire bikes and you can explore more of Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Come and stay in one of our historic and beautifully renovated cottages. We have a total of twenty-two double or twin bedrooms in four locations. All have gardens and parking and are within a couple of minutes’ walk of the Hall and Gardens, Shops, Cafe & Restaurant. Since 2006 Doddington has been our much-loved family home. We have continued Claire’s parents work in devoting ourselves to the upkeep, repair and progression of the Doddington Estate including; the development of the Farm Shop, Bike Shop, Café, Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Home Store, Farrow & Ball, Country Clothing Store, Bauble Barn, Christmas Tree Sales and Weddings and Events businesses; increasing public access; organising concerts and exhibitions and the development of various accommodation across the estate. There is always something new to see and do on the estate whether that is inside the Hall, in the five acres of gardens, one of our events, or on one of the estate walks.
