Montgenèvre offers excellent holidays. Right on the Italian border, Montgenèvre dates back to pre-Roman times, being on an ancient pass between Italy and France. The charm of the village is complimented by its position in an area that boasts 300 days sunshine a year. Its height means the snow comes earlier and stays later.
Montgenèvre has all the facilities of a modern resort whilst retaining its traditional charm. The restaurants and bars in the village offer a range of both traditional mountain fare and popular dishes. These are complimented by the local shopping and weekly market.
The ski slopes at Montgenèvre are particularly well-suited to beginners and intermediates. A cheap day extension gives you access to 400km of slopes in the Milky Way.
Montgenèvre has a total of 59 slopes, covering 100km of pistes and served by 38 lifts. Of the pistes, 25 are beginner runs, 23 are intermediate runs and 11 are advanced runs. The ski resort has several runs of decent length, the longest being 7km.

This chalet is well positioned with only a 3 minute walk to the main village hub for ski lessons, restaurants and shops.
