My family and I stayed at Patricia's place for one night upon first arriving to Portugal. It's a large, and beautiful apartment that is well-suited to a family. The kitchen was well-appointed and Patricia was so kind to provide a crib, towel, and blanket for my six-month-old baby, as well as a lovely welcome basket of wine and some snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and the apartment is just steps from the metro which can take you to the center of Porto in about 10 minutes. There are also some nice restaurants and shops just downstairs, including a large Lidl grocery. Our only concerns were that the apartment smelled of cigarette smoke when we arrived and we had to open all the windows to air it out. The floors throughout the apartment were quite sticky and dirty such that we did not feel comfortable walking in our bare feet or allowing our baby to play on the floor, and one of the drains backed up badly after using the shower.
