What a great stay - probably the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Giorgos was so accommodating, helping us with things we needed and supplying amazing greek food! The apartment is very close to several beaches. It’s a lovely quiet neighbourhood away from busy Chania and the local bus is very cheap and quick to get in and out of the city, running every 15min in the evening. The patio area is perfect to lounge all day every day and the interior is very clean, would highly recommend.
L'appartement est spacieux et propre il se trouve à 15 minutes du centre de la Canée en voiture et la plage est à 10 minutes à pied. Les hôtes sont vraiment super et très gentil. Ils expliquent tout en détail et sont toujours disponibles. Ils nous ont fait goûter les spécialités de leurs régions. Je recommande vivement cette location.
Alloggio molto confortevole, ottima la pulizia. La posizione è molto buona. Grande è l' ospitalità della famiglia ospitante, ci hanno viziato con i loro ottimi piatti tipici. Un alloggio che consigliamo per un soggiorno a Creta.
Die Lage zum sehr schönen Strand, der auch für Kleinkinder geeignet ist, ist perfekt! Die Ausstattung ist auch für Babys hervorragend - Spiele, Kindersitz, Babybett, Kinderwagen, Babyschaukel, usw. Küche ist super ausgestattet. Terrasse sehr groß und gemütlich. Die Gastfreundlichkeit ist überragend, vielen Dank!
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Apartment von Giorgos. Die Lage ist fantastisch: man ist super schnell an den schönsten Stränden Chanias, aber auch schnell auf dem Highway um die restliche Insel zu erkunden. Supermarkt und viele Restaurants und Tavernen sind direkt im Umfeld. Dennoch ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten alles was unser Herz begehrt, die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Die große Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Giorgios und die Besitzerin der Wohnung waren sehr sehr hilfsbereit und wir hatten immer einen Ansprechpartner und haben tolle Tipps bekommen. Wir bedanken uns sehr für die schöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The seaside resort of Kalamaki is located 5km west of Chania city and is the seaside part of Galatas village. Galatas is located in a fertile plane with citrus and olive groves, that once was the main source of income; today tourism is the main growth factor.
The beautiful beach of Kalamaki has fine sand and shallow water. It is very well organized, with umbrellas, showers, lifeguard, accommodation and food services, beach bars, water sports, etc. Moreove, beside the western edge of the beach, a separate non organized small cove is formed, separated from the main beach by a narrow strip of sand.
Kalamaki is the westernmost part of the long beach which starts 1km to the east, at Agii Apostoli.Furthermore, 2 km west of Kalamaki lies the long beach that stretches from Kato Stalos up to Agia Marina and up to Platanias. The entire beach is ideal for swimming and has everything you may be looking for.
The two beach es of theAgii Apostoli (the Holy Apostles) are located just 3km west of Chania and is a beautiful resort. The first cove at west is located just besides the east edge of Glaros beach. It is a beautiful sandy beach with all amenities and a large parking place nearby and easily accessed. A small peninsula is formed on the west side of the beach, which protects it from the winds. On the peninsula there is a nice park, which is ideal for walking, and the scenic chapel of the Holy Apostles after which the wider area takes its name.
A second “twin” semicircular cove is formed some meters to the east, with beautiful greenish waters and fine sand. The rock formations on the side are amazing. Beside the east end of the beach, there is a small pine grove extending to the east till Chrissi Akti.
The Golden Beach (greek: Hrissi Akti) is located 2.5km west of Chania city and a few meters east of Agii Apostoli. It actually consists of two sandy beaches separated by some rocks. The west cove is the main Golden Beach and the east one is called Aptera beach. The west bay, which is the most popular, is very well organized with umbrellas, lifeguards, showers, cafes, water sports etc. It has fine golden sand and shallow waters, making it ideal for young children. Moreover, there is a playground for kids nearby.
The bus stop is only 300 m away from our house.In summer ,there are bus routes to Chania every 20 minutes.On the road outside our apartment, you may find plenty of parking spaces.
