The self-catering cottages are a short walk from the many useful amenities of St Martins, including supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, a pharmacy, cash point, other shops and Sausmarez Manor, with it's weekly Farmer's Market.
In addition, the Cottages are only a short walk away from many beautiful bays - including Moulin Huet, which is a stunning little bay made famous by the painter Renoir, who spent a (apparently!) delightful summer painting a series of landscapes here. There is a popular tea room overlooking the bay, which is a perfect place to treat yourself to a Guernsey ice cream (using the creamiest Guernsey cow's milk). We are also close to many stunning cliff walks and paths, which will take you all around the island should you be so energetic!
In terms of nearby pubs and restaurants, you are spoiled for choice, with many places within walking distance in which to eat - ranging from characterful local pubs serving excellent food, to elegant dining in a boutique manor house, to dip n'dine swims after lunch, to Sunday roasts or the best hand-spun pizzas on the island! You may not find the time to use your Ellingham kitchen!
The main town of Guernsey is St Peter Port and only one mile away. Enjoy a day pottering around the cobbled streets and enjoying VAT-free browsing in boutique shops. There is a huge choice of restaurants in St Peter Port and the majority are excellent. There are also other attractions to explore in town, such as Victor Hugo's House, the Military Museum, Castle Cornet, Candie Gardens and the Victorian Bathing Pools.

A bus service runs past the holiday cottages - we also have plenty of parking and can offer recommendations on car hire. The main harbour town of St. Peter Port is less than two miles from the cottages and is accessible by foot (downhill walk), by car (5 minute drive), or local bus (the bus stop is a 3 minute flat walk from the cottages).
