The house, itself, is 5 stars. The owners are 2 stars. This rental is NOT designed for privacy at all. It is listed as a remote check in property. We did, indeed, get to check in by ourselves. However, the owners then required that they come in the house after we got there. They were insistent. They went into each and every room, public and private. They stayed checking rooms and "showing us how to turn on lights and heaters" correctly. This is a violation of Airbnb policies. They made no mention of this “visit” until after the date passed where we could have cancelled and stayed somewhere else. The husband was very off putting. When we pulled our car around to load our bags, he came running over upset about where we were parked. He said that there were cameras and he watches them like a hawk. My husband, our two adults daughters, and I just wanted a peaceful, private place to spend Thanksgiving. If you are looking for privacy this is NOT the place to rent!

Our family of 5 loved our time at the Silo house. The view was amazing, the location perfect, and the house was incredible! We felt at home and Susan was amazing! The kids loved feeding the horses too. What a treat. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Susan and Tom were amazing hosts and we felt right at home the moment we pulled up to the master piece of a home. It was our first time in Montana and with there knowledge of the local area sent us right to the best sights, dining and activities saving us precious time to do more. We were speechless as we entered their home as the architectural design was fascinating! We want the thank Susan and Tom for taking their time to give us a unforgettable trip to Montana and will definitely be returning!!

My wife, our two kiddos (aged 4 and 1), and I had an incredible 7-day stay at the Silos. The photos simply don't do it justice; we were shocked when we walked in. It reminded us of the good old days of Airbnb before everyone started their own short-term rentals filled with Ikea furniture. The property is meticulously maintained, and the home itself is immaculate with high-end finishes. We experienced the most serene atmosphere and enjoyed breathtaking views of the valley spending a lot of time outside when we were home. Susan and Tom, the hosts, were incredibly friendly, and we would often see them around the property during our stay, hard at work. Our 4-year-old loved interacting with the horses, playing on the swings, and having plenty of space to run around. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
