里士满 · 整套公寓 · 2室2床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Modern, unique home in heritage shoe factory
Our modern, architecturally designed 2 bdr apartment has a unique urban feel. Situated along a heritage street, this warehouse was built in 1883 by the renowned Paragon Shoes. Iconic Victoria Street is a 2 min walk; Bridge Road is 10 mins. Proximity is a big plus in this location with the best train, tram and bus options on your doorstep. The CBD is a 25 min walk along Fitzroy Gardens. The MCG and Rod Laver Arena are a short stroll. Southern Cross Station:Marvel Stadium: 1 train/4 stops/11 mins. This self contained ground floor warehouse apartment has a unique feel with its modern interior, warehouse remenants and European style shared courtyard space. There are two bedrooms. One queen size room with direct access to the courtyard. The second bedroom sits farther within the apartment. Across the courtyard, to the rear of the building, is a cafe open Mon-Sat. Passing through the cafe you arrive at a bustling Melbourne laneway - a hidden gem. Enjoy the basketball hoop, street art and dog watching while you wait for your yummy coffee.
Great place, well located near public transport including trains and trams to the city. The cafe behind is a excellent for coffee, cakes and toasty-type food. Great restaurants and cafes are about 20 or 30 minutes walk away. There were very noisy footsteps upstairs for some of the time. We couldn't work out if it was a kids party or a dance studio or something else.
It was perfect for my two night stay to access CBD and also Collingwood, Abbotsford, Brunswick, Fitzroy etc. The cafe through the back door is great, the amenities and fit out are beautiful and there’s everything you need. It’s spacious and easy to be in. Loads of storage and hanging space and comfy bedding. Taine & Grainne are clearly the thoughtful type of host who have considered every detail. Many thanks!
Great position in Richmond; all your needs catered for; quaint coffee shop located out back; home beautifully styled - loved it 😊!
Really affordable and comfortable place. Loved the location and close to everything. Theres a wall separating the two bedrooms which is quite the thin which was a little challenging with a baby that was up through the night, however the hosts were very accomodating with baby needs. Would stay again.
Richmond
This inner-west location has it all. As the multicultural part of Richmond it is best known for Victoria Street, or “Little Saigon”, with its bustling Vietnamese and Thai grocery stores and eateries serving the best pho and bánh mì. The best Thai in Melbourne is just a 2 minute walk towards Victoria Street - Jinda Thai. Make a booking to sit in or grab a take out. Grab your lunchtime bánh mì from Hung's Bakery on Vic St.
The famous All Nations is your local pub - great food and service. The more livelier Avery (great steak!) and The Vic Bar are both situated closeby on Victoria Street. Farther east along Vic St is Cardwell Cellars which offers a huge variety or worldwide wines which you can drink in-store accompanied by yummy nibbles.
Woolworths and Aldi are a short stroll. Richmond's Bridge Road shopping strip is a 10 min stroll with the lively Swan Street farther south.
East Melbourne, Collingwood and Abbotsford are all at this homes doorstep with the city and Melbourne immense sporting precinct all at your fingertips (the MCG, Tennis Open, AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena, John Caine Arena, Margaret Court Arena with Sidney Myer Music Bowl just across the river).
Enjoy a stroll looking at the gorgeous streets and Library in East Melbourne. Fitzroy Gardens is always impeccable turned out. A walk along the Yarra River in Abbotsford will bring you to Abbotsford Convent, Collingwood Farm, Right Falls and Yarra Bend Park. Check out Cam's Kiosk for a lunch or evening meal at the Convent.
