Nicely maintained house with a good sunset viewpoint. House is a little dusty and Bathrooms need some maintenance but overall nice ambience, very calm peaceful and relaxing.

This is a stunning property - the pictures don't do justice to the amazing location in the middle of farms and tea estates with stunning views of surrounding hills. The maintenance can be improved (e.g., 1 flush not working, 1 window not closing), but overall great value for money. Quick caveat - this place is more than 30 min drive from main Ooty town and there aren't any restaurants etc. nearby, so please get food / groceries if you don't have a car. Also, there aren't any fans or air conditioners in the property, but with the amazing weather - you will barely feel the need.

Let me start with the positives 1. Wonderful view which you can enjoy 2. Exterior of the house is quite impressive, with a decent garden area 3. Caretaker is there (speaks only Tamil thgh) Cons: 1. The interior of the house has not been maintained well. It is a councious effort by the owner to not have any pics of the inside of the house 2. Bathrooms were not clean 3. It lacks basic amenities like TV (have 2 but not working), Wifi, AC, even fans which was quite inconvenient. 4. Gets warm during the day ( we had visited in summer) 5. Owner stays outside the country and not very responsive 6. Kitchen was not well equipped like other Airbnbs I have stayed in. Did not proper cooking vessels, plates, coffee etc. 7. Few of the windows would not close which I felt was a security concern 8. Bedroom linen used was not very impressive 9. Roads leading to the house is a bit difficult Honestly quite surprised by the number of positive reviews. Please do your due diligence before booking

The stay is as advertised on AirBnB - it matches the description to the point. It is a value for money stay which is peaceful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Beautiful place. located in the hills far away from town but with a superb view all around. Host was also very responsive. Care taker also maintained the place very well. Zomato service available. Worth every penny.
