An ideal place for a long weekend with old friends. Perfectly positioned with a five minute walk to the beach and with little shops, pubs and a great restaurant just round the corner meaning we could walk everywhere. House was ideal for 5 couples with plenty of room int he kitchen for communal cooking, lovely cosy living room with fire for chatting and a big dining table for feasting. Dogs clearly welcome and kindly catered for with water bowls etc. Alison was also super helpful responding at once to any questions. we will be back!

My family & I had the most wonderful stay at Sefton House last week. It was a home from home. Beautifully decorated & kitted out with everything you need. It is in such a perfect location in Alnmouth. We loved being so close to the beach & in the town, a few minutes walk to a choice of really nice pubs for food & drinks.  Alison was extremely helpful with recommendations for local catering & restaurants. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house. We would definitely recommend it & would love to come again!

Super long birthday weekend with geographically distant family. House very welcoming with groceries for us. Ideal layout for all our age ranges especially ground floor bedroom & bathroom for the oldest member.

This house feels so homely and even with 8 people (plus’s guests) there was plenty of room. Very cosy when the weather’s bad too. Alison was a great host and very communicative.

Location fantastic; suited our needs down to the ground. Facilities within the house excellent. The rooms were so well appointed. The group felt so at home. The party all felt that the house was a fantastic choice of accommodation.
