Our stay at Jesilyn’s place was so wonderful, we wished we could stay longer!! We wanted a stay-vacation to get away from the city life and this was exactly what we needed. The property is no more than 15 minutes away from everything you need; restaurants, pharmacy, gas, etc. The area and neighborhood is luxurious and private. The views were breathtaking! The actual property is gorgeous and we felt like we were staying at a mansion. The landscape and garden are well maintained and so serene. The room was beautiful and accompanied by a private in suite bathroom and an awesome private outdoor kitchen. Another perk is that we were able to eat at the resorts cafe and use the pool! And most of all Jesilyn is very sweet, responsive, and an altogether amazing host. Thank you Jesilyn!

Quiet and cool, even I don't need aircon. Of cause a transport is needed here like I use my scooter. There is a Restaurant on the corner and a shop for daily need's near the entrance of that private and with lots of guards secured area. There is a building in the neighborhood, but very quiet, it don't effect. The eight month old puppy dog take also care in nighttime ;-) Jesilyn is so helpful and nice, is more like home and no rooster's!!! If you like to find peaceful and quiet, the paradise is here. I'm more than thankful

Since we are Jesilyn's first guests through Airbnb, we are giving her a long review. We are trying to be unbiased. This review was written on the last day of our one month stay, October 1 2018. We had a special one time promotional offer, and our assessment of value is based the price we paid, which was not unreasonably low in our opinion, given the fact that the place is not located in Dumaguete or in Valencia. Tierra Alta Residential Development is also not finished yet, and transportation to Dumaguete and Valencia by tricycle is a bit hit and miss. Ideally, her guests would have their own transportation. We rented a motorbike cheaply from Maxplace Motorbikes, so we would not impose on Jesilyn's hospitality. This is a new house in a very nice subdivision, about 10 km from Dumaguete. The house is quite close to the Tierra Alta Resort Clubhouse, where we had free unlimited use of the swimming pool and wifi. A zipline terminates at the The Clubhouse, which hosts weddings and parties. We were not bothered by the sounds coming from the Resort. Overall we considered being close to the Clubhouse an asset. The environment at Tierra Alta is clean and beautiful. There are interesting birds and nature sounds. Jesilyn's house is well landscaped with lots of beautiful flowers and fruit trees. It is cooler at this altitude than in Dumaguete and the air smells good. The location is close to a nice waterfall and a hot spring where admission is 50 pesos per head. Jesilyn occupies the upper portion of the house, and we had plenty of privacy in the lower. Our bedroom was spatious and well apppointed. The ensuite bathroom was more than adequate for our needs. We had exclusive use of the outdoor kitchen, including fridge, sink, gas oven, range and kitchenware. Jesilyn supplied extra items when we asked for them. The whole place was sparkling clean when we arrived, and we did our best to leave it that way. Jesilyn is an extremely good host. She is kind and generous by nature, and she clearly enjoyed hosting us. She has considerable resources at her disposal -- a Suzuki wagon R and an electricity generator for example. She took us to many places, acting as our guide, and we had lots of fun on those occasions. She has an very good knowledge of the area, including Dauin, Siquijor and Apo, and she satisfied our information needs. We occasionally paid for gasoline on our trips together. In terms of value for the money, we would give this place a 5 star rating. We recognize however, that some guests might prefer to stay in the town of Dumaguete or in Valencia, which offer a wide range of choices.

Jesilyn a perfect host. her place is spectacular with of cebu on a clear day. it's away from the hustle bustle of the city so it's not so crowded and quiet. I like the fact that they don't allow chickens on the compound so you can sleep without being disturbed. she help me get a motorcycle and also gave me a ride to the ferry back to cebu when needed. whenever i had a question she answered promptly. her place is a new unit that is sparkling clean and stylishly renovated period. there is a great clubhouse upon the hill with a restaurant and activities as well as a huge pool . i highly recommend to this place comma wants to get found out it's going to be booked up perpetually because it's brand new. i recommend having a car or a motorbike because it is a bit away from the activities of the city internet worked great she has a smart television in the apartment a washer. staying at this place was the highlight of my trip thanks again jess
