Gail is a fantastic host. She was friendly and attentive; her home is a beautiful and relaxing retreat! It is the perfect place to unplug from your daily life and recharge your batteries. The landscape and art are visually pleasing. My family of four had plenty of room to catch up on reading, napping, and watching movies. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to make family meals at home. Don’t worry if you forget your book. The home has a library and games to entertain everyone. The bedrooms are cozy and inviting, with terrific bedding. The house is centrally located to everything Encinitas has to offer. My daughter had her hair cut at Cielo Salon across the street, and Cindy was an excellent stylist. Grabbing a coffee in the morning is super easy at Pannikin, the next-door coffee house, and we enjoyed meals at several local spots. The beach is a few blocks from the house, and Gail has everything you need. We will stay again - thank you, Gail, for sharing your home.

We selected this property for a small college friends “reunion”. We needed 3 Bedrooms, off street parking, and easy access as one of our group is very mobility challenged. This fit all of our criteria. We were greeted by a delightful home, full of artsy design choices (the bathroom was fabulous!!), comfy beds and plenty of great seating options. Close to the coast, and our now fave coffee spot…it was all perfection!

Loved this house! As a family of 5 (3 kids under 13) there was an EXCELLENT assortment of books and games! LOVED our morning jam sessions with instruments. We had family come over and it made for a great meeting place. The beach in the winter (stone steps) close to the house was not a beach anyone could go on. The noise from the coffee shop in the middle of the night was a bit startling to this Alaskan mom of the woods but everything else was cozy and wonderful. Love staying in an old-world charm house! the one bathroom made it a bit challenging too at times with us all but we managed! Loved Gail!!

This was our second Christmas visiting Encinitas and staying in Gail’s lovely home. It was just as wonderful as our first visit! Gail’s home is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Encinitas has to offer. We loved walking to restaurants, boutiques and beaches. When we did “stay home” we really enjoyed relaxing in the house and stunning yard. I would highly recommend this uniquely beautiful home for a great get-away!

Gail’s home was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the location; walkable to multiple shops and diverse eateries, the beach, even downtown Encinitas is walkable if you like to walk. We had fires ever night in the fireplace and played games in her cozy living room. She provides anything you would need or want on vacation. Her home is filled with beautiful plants and eclectic art work and furnishings! We will definitely book her home again.
