This is a beautiful property, especially during fall! The site and surrounding areas have stunning foliage. It’s also sweet to have horses next door. However, like everyone else has mentioned, the train is in fact very loud and goes by at least 2-3 times throughout the night. However, it’s usually pretty quick, and with ear plugs it’s not the worst thing. I would still come back and would recommend to others as well!

A fantastic option for those visiting Leavenworth and who are interested in camping/glamping near town. The sites are spacious, flat and clean, and the port-o-potty was clean and well-equipped. About a mile walk to town, but the road and traffic isn't very amenable to walking (eg if you're walking with children). Easy bike ride or quick car ride into town. Pretty horses. Other folks have mentioned the train - yes, it is close by the sites, but if you are used to trains it's no big deal. They run by but aren't blaring horns or anything like that. I slept right through them, and they were not so frequent or huge that they disturbed the peace.

Stayed here two nights on our way to and from an enchantments through hike. If you are just looking easy place to camp for the night close to Leavenworth, then this is it. Amanda was very friendly, communicative, and extremely helpful!

Great place to pitch a tent, and reasonably affordable. Close to town. The train is aggressively loud though.

Our stay went very well. the hosts were really friendly, and we got to enjoy the horses and dog that was on the property. The train was loud at times, but mostly didn't bother us and was fun to watch.
