Always a treat staying at the Minouche! Marilyn is a top-notch host!
The experience of staying at Marilyn's and Richard's cabin was exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful setting with hiking trails right outside our door (literally), my partner, dog, and I didn't want to leave when it was time for us to check-out. I'm doing my best to hold onto the peaceful feeling of reading a book in one of the rocking chairs on the deck or in the perfectly placed hammock while listening to the creek flow down the hill to Lake Champlain. Marilyn and Richard are gracious hosts surprising us with decorations and delicious cupcakes for my partner's birthday (and the reason for our trip) upon our arrival. We'll definitely visit again!
The Minouche was the perfect place to stay during the 2024 solar eclipse. The cabin is the perfect size for one or two people to stay for a few days, especially if you enjoy nature as well as the amenities of modern life. Cabin and property are exactly as described. Marilyn was a super responsive host who clearly enjoys what she does. She sent us links and tips about things to do, without even being asked! We had no need to eat the breakfast food we brought because she supplied us with eggs, cream cheese, and bagels, which is more than I find at hotel continental breakfasts for a similar price. Would absolutely come back. 🌒🌲
it was an amazing visit! we only stayed one night but the view us stunning, pillows are amazing (might have to buy some of those myself lol) and the vibe was perfect! The cabin was a perfect little getaway. The host was amazing as well, very thorough and welcoming!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was very peaceful and private. The place was very clean. Marilyn supplied some breakfast foods, eggs, bagels and coffee, which we very much appreciated. She even had treats for our dog. We enjoyed the spectacular views especially during the sunrise. We also enjoyed the marked hiking trails on their property. We hope to return soon.
