We spent a week here with our three kids, and loved it. Tongue is such a great base for exploring the north, and the house was cosy and warm, with everything we needed. There’s a local shop for provisions, and the pub next door does excellent food. Very happy, and can highly recommend.

Spacious and well-equipped lodge right across from the hotel. Clean and warm. Great base for exploring the north east section of the NC 500 and close to lots of lovely beaches and walks. Lovely meals available in the hotel, really friendly staff.
