This tastefully decorated house in a quiet village was the perfect place to stay to see the lovely area in and around Durham. The are offers both historic city and places in an around Durham , country houses, museums amazing walks and coast line. The property is spacious warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The welcome pack was a thoughtful extra and much appreciated. The bedding was clean and towels soft and we liked the hair dryer in every room. It was easy parking outside the house and a nice quiet neighbourhood. The local pubs were great and handy morrisons nearby. We would highly recommend the area to visit and this property

The house is homely and cosy, sat with the fire on and had a lovely evening! Bedrooms are very nice and there was everything you would need. Nice and quiet. Only stayed one night but would happily stay more, it was very nice. Tom a very helpful and responsive host.
