If you are looking for a cabin in the woods on the lake, this is the place for you! It's not fancy, but it has everything you could want. The layout was great for our group. The main floor has the kitchen, living area, and access to a large deck plus a bedroom with a bathroom and walk-in shower (the bathroom is accessible from the main area as well as the bedroom). This worked perfectly for my mom. Downstairs there is another bathroom with walk-in shower and 2 bedrooms (one with two twins and one with a larger bed). This worked great for my husband and I plus our son. It also has outdoor access and is where the laundry room is. The lift down to the lake was perfect for getting people and items down without a hassle. Pro tip: If you someone waves to you from the water when you're down on the dock, send a friendly wave and hello back. (Thanks, Dick!).

Cute cabin! Cozy and peaceful. Gorgeous lake view with a nice deck to enjoy the view. Jill was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a delightful stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. We were happy to have a cabin to stay in that allowed our puppies to visit. Our children loved wandering around on the deck. Wonderful trip overall!

This was exactly what we needed. Peaceful cabin getaway with hot water, woodburning stove and good wifi. Enjoyed quiet snowfall as we looked out at the lake and sat by the fire. Love that they supplied sheets to cover the furniture for the furry friends, was so nice to be able to bring my cat. Hosts were very responsive and friendly with helpful recommendations, lots to do in the area both in town and in the woods. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Jill's place for six days. We had a great time. The house is clean and well stocked for cooking meals with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans. I would suggest bringing your favorite sharp knife as most of the knives were well used! It is a plus that you can bring your pet and amazing that the place is clean enough that you wouldn't even know that pets were there previously. With the exception of the twin beds, the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are large with great closet space. The downstairs appears newly remodeled and is fresh and clean. Our crew slept comfortably every night we were there. There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows all being soft and comfortable. Guests are provided one towel and washcloth so if your staying longer than a few nights it would be good to bring an extra towel. Jill and Dick do a very nice job with having everything ready. They are prompt at getting back to you with any questions you may have. The "trolley" as we called it, that takes you down to the lake/dock and back up is fun and very appreciated! I can not imagine having to trek up and down that hill. This is an awesome plus for young, old and those of us who are not feeling as strong as we used to be. There is a large deck for enjoying the mornings as well as the evenings. We cooked outside most of our stay and enjoyed the deck for socializing, game playing and eating as well the beautiful views of the lake. There is not much of yard, nor is there a beach front so the deck was appreciated and used a lot, there is a dock with a bench for sitting at the lake. We caught several fish off the dock! We swam in front of the dock and floated on our floaties, as well. The lake is clean . We rented a pontoon for a few days and enjoyed fishing, sight-seeing and swimming at the Sand-bar! It was quiet while we were up there. There is a house next door, but we never saw another person. The lake was quiet for the most part. The weekend we saw a few boats, but not many. We really enjoyed our stay! We discussed and will be making plans to return next year. If we don't have a cabin of our own in area by then....it seems people on this lake don't really want to leave, though! We loved the area, the cabin, the lake, the relaxing, the loons, the wild-life, the walks, the fishing....the whole works!
