The main complaint was the indoor water feature and the stepdown slab when you came in the front door which was a dangerous to negotiate. In fact, there were little steps everywhere which was not ideal for older people or small children. Having said that, the house was in a beautiful location and the rooms were lovely. We had a lot of fun there and it is definitely a feel good place. Richard was an excellent host - v helpful and there was a good maid's service.

Wunderbare Lage des Hauses mit fantastischen Aussichten auf die Umgebung. Das Haus ist luxuriös eingerichtet und bietet einen hohen Komfort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We had a good stay. Place is beautiful with a magnificent view. Only downside was that there was no solar or inverter for loadshedding.

Stunning house with AMAZING views!!! Very tranquil, feels safe & secure. Clean throughout with a friendly cleaner. Tasteful furniture and lots of glass doors to catch that setting sun. Adequate gas fireplaces & warm carpets for slightly chilly evenings. Space galore with plenty private and communal spaces. Kitchen was well kitted with a nice gas stove. Patio, braai & eating facilities were all just perfect. The Nespresso & the drinks fridge was a huge plus for us. Check-in was a breeze. Our host met us at the gate and walked us through everything and was on hand to help where needed. Pool is stunning to look at, but very cold, even in December. If I was forced to fault something, then Solar heating for the pool would have been a nice. In fact Solar or backup power of some sort would have been a nice touch given the price and power outages during our trip. Overall though, power outages did not remove much fun for our group and the place was definitely 5 star accommodation.
