Un très bon séjour chez Sean et Mary dont la maison est idéalement située, la chambre et la salle de bain impeccables, le petit-déjeuner royal et l'accueil sympathique !
Wir haben eine sehr saubere, moderne Unterkunft vorgefunden. Mit dem Aircoach sind es ca. 40 min vom Flughafen nach Monkstown. Von der Haltestelle bis zur Unterkunft 3 min Fußweg. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Straße. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig - wie auf dem Foto abgebildet. Das Bad sehr modern ausgestattet. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffeepads. Mary hat uns begrüßt und alles gezeigt. Frühstück konnten wir morgens in der Küche essen. Der Tisch war gedeckt. Es gab Milch, Kaffee, Tee und Joghurt. Außerdem stand Toast-Brot und irisches Brot mit 2 Sorten Marmelade und Butter zur Verfügung. Cornflakes und ein Müsli waren ebenfalls im Angebot. Da wir von morgens bis spät-abends unterwegs waren, hatten wir wenig Kontakt zu unserer Gastgeberin. Von Monkstown aus kann man die Dart (S-Bahn) nutzen. Ebenfalls keine 3 min zu Fuß entfernt und mit dem Visitor-Ticket kostengünstig im Großraum Dublin die Umgebung erkunden. Die Lage war fantastisch. Ein kleiner Spar ist auch um die Ecke.
Sean and Mary's accomodation was fantastic! Great location, lots to do and near to our friends. It was extremely clean and had everything you needed and as an added bonus breakfast was provived. Beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend! Sean and Mary are very hospitable and friendly! Didnt want to leave!
Mary and Sean were perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful.We really enjoyed our stay in Monkstown. It is an idyllic, peaceful village by the sea and it takes only about 30 minutes from Dublin city by local train. For our next trip to Dublin, we shall definitely book this accommodation again.
Sean & Mary are great hosts. Both were very friendly and gave us good ideas of pubs to visit. We were only in Dublin for the rugby but there was plenty of pubs to visit locally. Easy to get into Dublin on the train for €5 return. If I were going back to Dublin I would definitely try and stay with Sean & Mary again

We live in Monkstown Village Co. Dublin. As we live on the coast it is always lovely to walk from Monkstown to Dun Laoghaire and on to Glasthule via the coast road. We are also very lucky to have so many amenities on our doorstep, from super restaurants to choose from, coffee shops, Spar shop, Chemist,and fashion shop. We enjoy travelling, mainly to Spain and Italy and love meeting new people from all parts of the world.
