The place is absolutely beautiful, and the host let us super nice details, snacks, things to drink and much more. Everything was great and we felt at home. A great place to stay. Highly recommended!!

We had a delightful two weeks in this property. Communication with Marja, the owner was excellent and the directions to the Villa, were clear. On our arrival, there was a much appreciated welcome gift, including fresh fruit, wine, milk, juice, bread, and home-made jam. The Villa is clean, comfortable, calm and relaxing, with lovely views out the distant coast, surrounded by lush gardens. The Villa has several eating areas, we enjoyed breakfast on the upper terrace and supper under the gazebo by the pool. The spec says the Villa has an oven, but it doesn’t really, it has a microwave. In the absence of an oven, we ate pizza (our girls’ favourite) out a lot! In the villa, we opted to BBQ or cooked on the hob. The villa is in an excellent location for exploring Tavira, Faro, Ria Formosa, many amazing beaches and is only 20minutes from the airport. We recommend canoeing the Benagil caves, segwaying the Ludo trail to see flamingoes, a dolphin boat trip and BJ’s Oceanside at Almargem beach!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Violetta. The space was lovely and private, with beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean. The bedrooms all had air conditioning which was very welcome in the summer heat, and Marija was graciously able to provide a high chair and a baby crib to accommodate our toddler. We really enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool. The location was also great, within driving distance of all the best sights in the Algarve. We would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Violeta! We were welcomed in person by Helena who gave us helpful recommendations throughout our stay. We were treated to a bottle of wine, and the makings for a continental breakfast when we arrived which was greatly appreciated since we hadn’t had a chance to shop yet. We later found several grocery stores close by in Faro. Our favorite restaurant from the trip is Sol e Jardim in Faro. The food and service was so good there that we went back several times. We loved the pool and the amazing views from the veranda, and found the time we had at the villa pass much too quickly.

Our family stay was fantastic! We are already sad that we only booked Villa Violeta for just one week. It's a beautifully kept, secluded and totally private space with a fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed every minute. Communication as well as the house with all amenities were great. Plus points: good mattresses, cozy communal space We would very much like to come back again!
