I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melissa's lovely home, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Melissa made us feel incredibly welcome. Despite our crazy check-in and check-out hours, she was incredibly accommodating and made the process seamless for us. Her warm hospitality and flexibility were greatly appreciated, and it set the tone for our entire stay. The house itself was impeccable - spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything exactly as described and even more charming in person. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the backyard, where we were treated to the delightful sight of deer roaming freely. Inside, we found a treasure trove of entertainment options, from a fantastic collection of puzzles to a wide selection. Thank you Melissa.

This house is old and charming and the price was amazing! Walking distance to downtown to visit a distillery, cheese shop and bakery. I would suggest this to anyone that wants to step back in time! The floors and bed are squeaky but we didn't mind one bit!

Very nice older house in Baker City. I suspect that some of the renovation is ongoing, but that's typical of older houses. Want to see the house your great grandparents lived in? This would be a good stop.

Melissa's directions and description are exactly right. If you want a place to unplug, and you love vintage and antique - this is the right place for you. Do not reserve this place if you need wifi, free breakfast, other modern benefits. I cannot say enough about the location! It is really great-so close to great restaurants, historic homes, walkable to a grocery store. Don't be put off by entering through the back wash room. This isn't the greatest way to meet the home, and it is the least attractive part of the house. Go into the sitting room - it is beautifully decorated with lots of antique and comfortable chairs, afghans, etc. There is even a guitar. There are lots of games, toys from yesteryears. The bed is comfortable and clean, with a heating pad and memory foam. If there are two of you sharing the bed, you may find yourselves sliding into the middle. With a light snowfall and a cup of coffee, it was delightful to sit by the tall windows and watch a pair of deer in the yard.
