Another enjoyable stay in this comfortable, very clean apartment very close to the sea front and to all local amenities. Quiet and restful few days, Joyce is always a very responsive host, we will return.

'twas a great place to stay for a few days, and had everything we needed. Despite inclement weather we managed to visit several places in the lake district, and more. Local pub, The Bourne, was handy and lovely.

This sounds like a cliche, but the flat is surprising spacious, ideal for a single person or couple. I found the ambience quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The two of the neighbours I met, were warm and friendly. The Back Esplanade Road I found better approaching from the opposite end of Salisbury Rd/Ave (which is in better condition). When visiting family and friends in the Fylde, I would certainly think about staying again.

Knott-End-on-Sea is a really quiet little village with a striking coastline which can be walked all the way up to Lancaster. Really friendly people around who always say hello when out walking, lots of seabirds & geese can be seen wintering in the area The flat was easy to find & access. Quick tip, a torch is handy if walking back after dark. Simply laid out & clean flat with everything you need. The little gift of milk & biscuits was kind and really appreciated. Handy folder with everything you need to know about the flat, appliances and local area. The bedroom quickly warmed up once the heater was turned on (Mid November stay)- I didn't need to use the living room heater as I was every day/ only there to sleep. The only thing which let the space down was the comfort of the bed as the mattress needs replaced. I had to borrow a mattress topper from relatives nearby to be able to get any sleep. If you like a mattress with any support, highly recommend bringing a topper with you.
