It is an A-frame thatch house in a game park. The wild animals will walk right up to the door or feeding table. The house backs onto Lionspruit - you can lie in bed or sit on the Patios and listen to the lions roaring. There is a mini golf course at the small shopping center, a bush shop with groceries, cooldrinks, ice creams, bread etc., a butchery, hardware store and laundry as well as Petrol Station Owl Cleaning Sevices for laundry 0835052463 or emergency contact. 2 downstairs bedrooms and 1 bedroom upstairs behind fencing - the feeling of sleeping in the open with a roof and security!

Marloth Park is an excellent area. The cottage is placed in a secluded area with privacy and our stay was very relaxing. We had cape bucks visit us daily and even a wildebeest.

We really loved that place and we felt very safe on the veranda especially with the lions around who escaped from the Krüger Park. We love to sleep on the upper balcony, but you need a mosquito net to enjoy the sounds of the night.

20 km either side for entrance to the Kruger National Park either via Croc Bridge or Malalane. The river road in Marloth looks over the Crocodile River into the Kruger! National Park.
A motor vehicle is required. Bicycle if you have themcan be ridden - just beware there are wild animals

Enthusiastic beach goer and retireree living on the KZN South Coast. I enjoy walking my fur children on the beach daily and hope to share some of the joys of the South Coast region of KZN with guests. Love the bush and wildlife, little constrained in going to Kruger Park due to my animals - but like to share the freedom of Marloth Park with as many like minded people as possible.
