Owner built this cabin and another one on the property himself. Couple has been renting these cabins for 24 years . Delightfully decorated and in the middle of primitive growth forest. Owner’s home on The 6 acre property as is another tiny home. Each cabin is very private. You will feel privacy but also support if needed should anything be desired. We are well located only 10 minutes from Walmart. We are about 20 minutes from Amicalola Falls. Fort Mountain State Park is about 30 minutes away. We are with in 10 minutes of four different wineries in our county of Gilmer. Guests also enjoy the Scenic Railway that takes you from Blue Ridge Georgia up to Copperhill Tennessee and back.

A cozy little cabin that’s close to town and a few miles from hiking, vineyards and other fun stuff. But you’re far enough away from hustle. Sadly, we didn’t get to meet Sally, but her husband, Jim, was incredibly kind and friendly (he built the cabin!). It’s a little chilly in the winter but a combination of the heater and fireplace kept us comfortable.

The cabin was very nice and exactly the woodland get away we were looking for! Even had 4 deer run across the yard one morning! Well worth the price! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!!

And neighborhood is comprised mostly of retirees. Since were on 6 acres, we are not near many neighbors.
Our cabins are easily accessible on a well-traveled and well-maintained short gravel road.

I am a retired Special Ed teacher having taught for 30 years in Bartow county Ga. and Volusia County Florida. My husband, Jim, built the 2 tiny homes which we rent to guests. Jim is a carpenter. We have been renting these cabins since 1995 and LOVE our life-style job. Walking/hiking is such a pleasure here. We have some great routes around the cabins.2 nearby trails that lead to the convergence of the Cartecay River and Clear Creek.
