We had a really great stay in the IJburg studio! The neighbourhood itself is calm, safe, and only 20 mins by tram to Central station (the tram comes every 10 mins and starts early/finishes late). The studio is just like the photographs and was really cosy and clean. We really appreciated the list of recommendations and friendly support from Alfred throughout our stay. The only thing to note is that there is a microwave, fridge and kettle which means it’s great for making breakfast or a snack, but you will need to go out for dinner and there aren’t loads of restaurants in IJburg so plan ahead to eat in the city or book a couple locally. KOH was great! I would stay at Alfred’s place again and can imagine it is beautiful in summer!

Very comfortable and so quiet. A relaxing view over the canal at the end of a busy day. The studio flat was just perfect with plenty of space with good size shower. Tram into Amsterdam a 10 minute walk through a park. Never had to wait more than 5 mins for a tram and the same back from Centraal. Thai restaurant KOH very close overlooking the marina was excellent. Alfred was very helpful and friendly with good tips and advice. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Studio. Alfred und seine Frau sind super lieb und freundlich und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht und die Lage sind perfekt für uns gewesen. Wir empfehlen es definitiv weiter und kommen bei unserem nächsten Amsterdam Urlaub wieder! :)

Amazing location, peaceful area and a 10 minute walk to the tram. Alfred and his family were great hosts, friendly, and always available if we needed anything. Room looked identical to the pictures and was very clean.
