My stay with Antony in his home was perfect! This was my first time at an airbnb, and it could not have been better. My room was perfect, king bed, sooo comfortable, I slept like a rock! Plenty of extra blankets, bedding and towels., as well as storage for personal items. The home was so clean, tidy and welcoming, and the neighborhood was quiet, which is what I am used to. Everything about the home was exactly as shown in the photos. There was even a new hair dryer and full first aid kit in the bathroom, just in case... very thoughtful touches. Anthony is very laid back, kind, welcoming, and true to his word. As a woman travelling alone, I definitely had the privacy I needed, and felt very safe here. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!

I would strongly advise against staying with Anthony. My friend and I stayed in Anthony's home and after checking in during the day (which included a woman giving us the code to enter the house on our own later) we left to see the music we had planned the trip around in Westhampton. When we got back to the house at night, an additional outside door had been locked without informing us and we had no way to get in. We tried calling Anthony multiple times and proceeded to ring the doorbell for over ten minutes (with no backup housing plan) until he came to let us in. The experience was incredibly scary and alarming so I reported it to Airbnb, but Anthony denied any of this happened despite my having the call records from the evening when we were locked out and trying to get into the house. Neither my friend or myself felt comfortable or safe during the stay and we were additionally questioned when leaving by neighbors on the street who wanted to know if we had found the place on Airbnb. We would have gone and found another hotel for the evening but our car keys were in the house and Shirley was not a great area more generally. I will not be staying with Anthony again and the experience all around has made me question how often I will even turn to Airbnb after seeing that there was nothing they could do about the situation unless we had video proof of being locked out. Unsurprisingly, filming the situation was not the first thing that came to mind when we were panicked and locked out with low battery in our phones.

Impeccable home, gracious hosts, no hassles. Conveniently located for my travels. I highly recommend this property if you need a place to stay in Long Island.
