Our family enjoyed this cottage and location so much, we booked again for a second visit. Thank you Francine and Roch for making this picturesque spot available for people to enjoy. The cottage is exactly as described, has the best view of the lake, is within walking distance of Westport and is steps from a lovely winery. We had everything we needed, with a kitchen that has all essentials and more, and lots of spaces to sit inside and out. Great spot to fish, swim, canoe and enjoy the scenery. We will definitely book again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Francine and Roch’s! The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need with amazing views of the lake. Walking distance to the town and winery. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Rose cottage! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on the Victoria Day long weekend! The cottage has everything we needed and wanted. A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, kayaks, a canoe, water shoes, bug spray, comfie living room furniture, an amazing view and right on the water with perfectly placed Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and chairs to enjoy our s’mores, a screened-in dining room to enjoy dinners bug free, and hosts that are friendly and welcoming, making themselves available to greet us and answer questions. The view is spectacular and there are lots of windows to enjoy it from. It is great that the cottage is at the end of a road with no through traffic and a nice amount of land between other cottages. All of this and only a short few minutes drive from the town of Westport. We are really looking forward to returning! Thank you Francine and Roch!

The hosts were excellent and met us promptly at checkin. The cabin is wonderful and on a beautiful piece of property on sand lake. Everything you need is right there waiting for you. We will definitely be coming back!!

Beyond expectations! Roch and Francine have paid attention to guest needs with an abundance of kitchen supplies, bedding and things you may need to get out on the water… even have water shoes available given they know their lake! We are an extended family spread out far and wide so this cottage gave us a great setting to celebrate our youngest member’s 1st birthday and some R&R. You won’t be disappointed and we look forward to a return trip.
